Week_08

Final week we carried on refining old thumbnails. I'm quite pleased with the results of the course but there's still so much to learn & I'm looking forward to improvimg more & more over the comming years.

Week_07

This week we were working one refining a painting to a more finished look.

Week_06

Ok this week was a little confusing but turned out to be quite easy. We were taught about colour theory & how to do a few thumbnails using it. I really liked this way of working as I found it quite relaxing & it took me away from the reality of real shapes & colours.





Next we had to go back to our paintings & improve them in all the ways we had learnt so far.

Week_05

This week we needed to add colour using photo's to create the image first. I quite like how a few of these turned out so hopefully I'm heading in the right direction.

Week_04

Ok this week was going back & improving on 3 previous thumbnails & adding some texture along with improving them with the new stuff we've learnt over the last few weeks.

Week_03

This week we have to do 3 value painting studys from film clips chosen by ourselves.













Ok enough painting, now to do some more thumbnails but using the stuff we've learnt this week.

Week_02

Here's todays try. I think I made some progress.

Looking over these i think i need to work more on the bigger shapes as the smaller shapes seem to make them lost overal.















These are called Callouts.




I tried to go more simple with these ones but it only seemed to work with the first one!
