Last day at work today. Man what a day & I thought it was going to be a bit more relaxing! Still roll on the sun & sleeep ;0)

Slow day today but it's my last day of my contract tomorrow yae!!!!

I Had to up the contrast on this one. Hope you had a more exciting day than me!!

Tues Paint

Really tried to get the saturation in this one I think I did quite well.

Mon Paint

Had a major problem with me PC last week hopefully I've sorted it out. Work was pretty tough too & not much inspiration around but here's the start of this weeks.

Just had a bit of time at the end of the day but nothing decent came out of it.

Just saw some nice concept art today & had a go at matching it's colours. Still lacking contrast tho!

Wed/Thurs Sketchs

Just a sketch session from work while rendering etc. I was just working on line of action poses etc I think I got about 3 good ones but they were all done without reference.

Thurs

Run out of time on Thurs so no update but I have got a few things today.

Tues

Tried to do a Mirrors edge theme today I found it quite hard to get so much detail in the whites maybe I'll give it another go when I'm a bit more accomplished with my IPod =0)

Mon

Ok my first week has gone by & considering how hard its been I guess I'm happy with the amount of drawing I did last week. Hopefully this week won't be as stressful & more sketches come out!

Saw a demo by Skottie Young & thought I'd have a go myself.

Took me a while to get the character right but I think she looks ok for a quick paint.

After with a bit of Photoshop but only on the levels ;0)

So yup I need to work on my contrast & tones really, but its a bit hard to get right when you turn your screen brightness down to save battery.

He uploaded a pic of this guy at one of the airports & I thought he was a good inspiration so I did a quick sketch. I gave him a kind of Steampunk feel so he was self sufficient to surf the net heh heh
